    Jordan is a second year MBA/MS candidate at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment. He is focusing on leveraging computer-based approaches, including GIS, remote sensing and simulation modeling, to address business, environmental and social issues. Jordan spent his last summer as an intern at Renovate America, a leading Property Assesed Clean Energy (PACE) financier. There he was a member of the Business Development team and focused on geographic and product expansion. Durring the prior summer he interned at Uber, where he developed a strategy for the company to use geotagged social media data as a demand indicator. Before to the University of Michigan, he was an Analyst at Angeleno Group, a dedicated energy venture capital firm. At Angeleno Group, he was responsible for conducting due diligence, originating deals and implementing business development initiatives for the firm’s active portfolio companies. Previously, Jordan attended UCLA where he earned a BS in Neuroscience and held various research and instructional positions.

    Ashka is a second-year MBA/MPH candidate at University of Michigan Ross School of Business and the Health Management and Policy program at the School of Public Health. Ashka spent last summer working in Business Development and Strategy for Medtronic Diabetes. There she designed the strategy for to provide a new retail offering. Prior to Michigan, Ashka was a manager at the American Hospital Association where she developed and managed a portfolio of programs aimed at helping hospitals adapt to changing healthcare policy. She also lead the Business Development Team and played a critical role in securing over $35M in additional revenue for the business unit. Prior to the American Hospital Association, Ashka was a part of the Clinical Operations Team at Huron Consulting Group. There she designed and implemented quality improvement and patient safety initiatives for hospital and health system clients. Ashka holds a BSBA in healthcare management, operations supply chain management, and public health from Washington University in St. Louis.

    Matthew is a second year MBA candidate focusing on Strategy and Finance. This past summer, Matthew was an associate at Detroit Venture Partners, where he led due diligence and evaluated seed and early stage investment opportunities. Prior to Ross, Matthew worked in business development and website acquisitions at Carbon Media Group, a digital media startup dedicated to outdoor enthusiasts. There he launched a new ad network vertical and led the various stages of acquisitions for five-to-seven figure investments. Before CMG, he spent four years at Entertainment Promotions, a consumer discount and promotions firm, as an account manager, overseeing digital and print advertising campaigns for clients that included professional sports teams and large supermarket chains. Matthew holds a B.S. in General Management from the School of Business Administration at Oakland University.

Anuar holds a B.S. with High Distintion in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM).

    Siddhartha is a first-year MBA student at the University of Michigan-Ross School of Business focusing on Strategy and Finance. Prior to Ross, he was a Senior Credit Risk Analyst-Middle Market at ICICI Bank for three years in Bombay, India. At ICICI Bank, his primary responsibilities included conducting business due diligence and financial analysis, structuring deals, and monitoring existing portfolio companies. Prior to ICICI Bank, he was working with HCL Technologies in semiconductor space for three years. At HCL, he developed functional models for technologies such as High Definition Multimedia Interface for Synopsys Inc-industry leader in Electronic Design & Automation. Siddhartha holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and Electronics and Communication Engineering degree from YMCA Institute of Engineering. He has cleared all the three levels of CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst program and is working towards receiving his charter.

    Abhishek is a second year MBA student focusing on finance and strategy. This past summer, he was an investment banking associate at J.P. Morgan. Prior to Ross, Abhishek was the Senior Operations Specialist at Luvocracy, a social commerce start-up based out of San Francisco. At Luvocracy, Abhishek helped launched the marketing, analytics and product operations teams over his time there. Before Luvocracy, Abhishek spent three years as an Analyst at the investment banking practice of Bank of Montreal, focusing on the consumer and retail industries. Abhishek holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

  • Chris Hildner MBA '16

    Chris is a second year MBA enrolled in the Tauber Institute with emphases on Operations and Strategy. This summer, Chris interned at Microsoft, where he focused on evaluating Microsoft’s commercial pricing strategy for the Surface Pro 3 and determining how they could more effectively use sales promotions to drive volume. Prior to Ross, Chris worked as a Product Manager for Tyco International where he was responsible for growing the Mechanical product line, a portfolio of pipe-joining solutions for commercial and industrial applications, on a global basis. At Tyco, Chris monitored product line profitability, built financial business cases to justify investment in new products, led project development teams, spearheaded voice-of-customer collection, drove expansion into new markets, and maintained and grew the brand. Prior to Tyco, Chris worked in China for nearly two and a half years, first as a Princeton in Asia teaching fellow and then as a Case Writer for the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). Chris graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics.

  • Mike Homorody MBA '16

    Mike is a second-year MBA concentrating on Strategy and Marketing. This past summer he was a product management intern at Warner Bros. Games, the company’s mobile game studio in San Francisco. Prior to Ross, he worked at Shyp – a very early-stage consumer startup also located in San Francisco. There he gained experience and led initiatives in customer acquisition, marketing analytics, competitive analysis, and full-stack startup operations, while taking the product from proof of concept through minimum viable product to further enhancement and optimization. Prior to Shyp, Mike worked in Nielsen’s Innovation Analytics division, where he consulted with consumer packaged goods companies on new product development, marketing strategies, and sales forecasts. Prior experience also includes enterprise software and consumer web startups. Mike holds a B.A. in East Asian Area Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

    Jasel is a second year MBA student concentrating in Finance. He spent this past summer as a high yield credit analyst with Sentinel Investments, where he researched and pitched trade ideas for several fund mandates. Prior to Ross, Jasel was an analyst at Ares Management focused on private investments across the capital structure, including senior, subordinated, mezzanine debt, syndicated loans and non-control equity. Prior to Ares, he was with Barclays Capital in its investment banking division, where he was involved with a variety of mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions. In 2013, Jasel also co-founded a consumer facing startup business in Chicago where he helped build growth strategy, sourced partnership deals and managed investors. Jasel holds a B.B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan.

Prior to Ross, he managed and executed data analytics projects with large school districts across the U.S. Before that, he worked as a consultant in the Power and Utilities industry, supporting M&A, financings, litigation and strategy. He holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he double majored in Industrial Engineering and Economics.

    MacCalvin is a first year MBA candidate focusing on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Prior to Ross, MacCalvin worked as a Technology Manager at the global digital advertising firm DigitasLBi, based in Boston, Massachusetts. There he led the strategic development of several multi-million dollar omni-channel marketing campaigns for Fortune 100 companies. Prior to DigitasLBi, worked at EMC Corp as part of an IT Leadership program where he earned his Lean Six Sigma black belt certification. MacCalvin holds a B.S. in Business and Information Systems from Boston College.

Before moving to San Francisco, Paige spent three years at Ipreo in New York City, as an investor relations consultant, focused on the semiconductor sector. Paige holds a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.

At EY, her service spectrum covers operation strategy, customer experience management, business process re-engineering, finance transformation and large scale project management service. Before EY, she spent 5 years with GE and most recently was a digital solution leader in GE China. She started from GE information technology leadership program and rotated across Capital, Energy and Infra businesses across Asian countries including Japan, Vietnam and China. Her focus is digital strategy development, customer relationship/experience management.

    Anshul is a second-year MBA concentrating on strategy for technology firms and entrepreneurship. He spent his summer at McKinsey & Co’s Silicon Valley office as a Summer Associate in the Business Technology practice. Prior to Ross, he worked at Google for 5 years in software engineering, leading teams in the implementing new features of Google Search and Google+. Subsequently, he led cross-functional teams in the development of new products and oversaw the technical execution of partnerships with clients at a digital-marketing start-up in Silicon Valley called BloomReach. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2008 with dual BS degrees in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering and interned at Google and Microsoft during summers, designing and developing new features of Google Talk and Microsoft Office.

Prior to coming to Ross, Courtney worked in various manufacturing industries, including glass, pharmaceuticals, and industrial valves/fittings. She is a graduate of an Operations Management Development Program, and has experience as a Process Improvement Leader and Project Manager. Courtney holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Russ College of Engineering and Technology at Ohio University.

    Eric is a first year MBA student concentrating in entrepreneurship and technology. Prior to Ross, Eric was a Consultant in Accenture’s Strategy division, based in Chicago. At Accenture, Eric was involved in strategic engagements pertaining to operating strategy, M&A, analytics, cost reduction, and market entry, primarily covering the Energy, Telecom, and Biotech industries. He has worked with teams and clients spanning six continents and was also responsible for developing firm intellectual property. Eric holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.

  • Biming Wu Ph.D '17

    Biming is a third year Ph.D candidate at the University of Michigan Biomedical Engineering Department. His research focuses on genetic modification of stem cells for orthopedic applications. Biming is also interested in designing computing tools to improve the efficiency of basic science research. Prior to WVF, Biming worked as a consultant at PreScouter, Inc., where he performed technology landscaping and due diligence for biotechnology and healthcare companies and connected them with leaders in academic research. Biming received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Iowa. Apart from engineering, he also spent four years in a biology laboratory working on muscular dystrophy research at the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa.

    Brian is a second year MBA/MS candidate at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and School of Natural Resources and Environment. His focus is on reformulating basic industrial sourcing, design, production, transportation and end-of-life processes to limit waste, eliminate cost and create environmental and social benefit. At Ross, Brian’s focus has been on enhancing his entrepreneurial skills and was recently named a Zell Scholar.

    Brian spent the summer of 2014 as an Associate intern with Huron Capital Partners where he helped evaluate middle-market acquisition candidates across healthcare, business services, consumer products and niche manufacturing. Immediately prior to returning to graduate school, and on a part-time basis during his first year, Brian worked for Arctaris Capital Partners, a provider of growth capital to small, high growth companies in the form of mezzanine debt. Previous to that experience, Brian spent four years working as a growth strategy management consultant, servicing clients ranging from Pfizer to State Farm and Becton Dickinson to Chrysler on dozens of projects.

    At Tufts University, Brian studied International Relations, Economics, French and Arabic and graduated cum laude. He was also a four year member of the Varsity Lacrosse Team and the Captain of the Varsity Men’s Squash Team.

  • Mathangi Radhakrishnan MBA '16

    Mathangi is a second-year MBA student focusing on Strategy. This past summer, Mathangi worked at McKinsey in their Detroit office. She worked within the heathcare sector on scenario planning and firm strategy. Prior to Ross, she had a summer internship working as a Risk Analyst for III/AVM, a hedge fund based in Boca Raton. At AVM she created a platform for analyzing historical market data to create a predictive risk model for future performance. Prior to AVM, she led the Korea Trading Team at Allston Trading in Chicago, where her task was to create and deploy new strategies within the Korean markets, while managing the current portfolio. Apart from trading, Mathangi also spent a summer while at MIT at a genetics lab working on modifying yeast genes. Mathangi holds a B.S. in Biological Engineering from MIT.

Michael received a bachelor of science in accounting from North Carolina State University. He is also a charterholder under the CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst program.

    Dr. Spencer Heaton is a first year MBA student, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Healthcare. He previously received his M.D. from University of Michigan Medical school. He is board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine, having completed residency training in anesthesiology at University of Michigan Health System and subspecialty training through a fellowship in pain medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a contributing author for two medical textbooks in the fields of pain management and neurology. Previously he served as President of the Michigan Society of Anesthesiology Resident Section and as an at-large Board Member for the Arizona Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has experience in private medical practice, including founding a comprehensive sports medicine, spine and pain management clinic. Immediately prior to Ross, Dr. Heaton was working in medical device development, focusing on airway devices for intra-operative use.

    Jon is a second year doctoral student in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on the development of a noninvasive surgical technique known as “histotripsy” that uses high intensity ultrasound to ablate tumors. Prior to Michigan, Jon worked as a mechanical engineer at Stratos Product Development in Seattle, WA where he developed medical devices for clients including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Intellectual Ventures Laboratory, and others. Prior to Stratos, Jon served as the principle mechanical engineer for RareCyte, a medical device startup focused on the isolation and characterization of rare circulating tumor cells from whole human blood. Jon is listed as sole or co-inventor on 1 approved and 9 pending patents.

  • Erica Sivertson MPP/MBA ‘16

    Erica is a third-year MBA/MPP candidate at the Ross School of Business and Ford School of Public Policy, focusing on strategy, entrepreneurship and policy. Last summer, Erica worked with the Executive Team at Consumer Reports in New York on strategic planning and the ongoing leadership transition at the organization. Erica spent her first summer in Minneapolis interning with Deloitte Strategy and Operations Consulting in the TMT practice, which is where she will be returning. She brings significant experience in government affairs. Prior to Ross, Erica worked as a Director at Quinn Gillespie & Associates, a multi-client lobbying and communications boutique firm in Washington, DC. She predominately worked for a handful of technology and financial services clients, including a wide variety of other associations, small companies, non-profits, and Fortune 100s. Erica previously worked as an Executive Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota. Erica earned a B.S. in finance and international business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
